2.Lesson Aim
  • Learn the different types of clouds
  • Name each type of cloud
  • How to make an experiment making a cloud
  • To understand the process of how clouds are formed
  • How to identify each type of cloud

DESCRIPTION:
What exactly will happen during your lesson? Describe what will happen during each parts

Do-Now

  • Watch a video
  • Draw each cloud
  • Name them based on the video

Activity & Handout

  •     In each envelope will have the             pictures and the name of the   cloud
  •     Then students should be able    to put the in order in their notebook
Homework

Student after learn the types of clouds will be able to do the homework based on what they learn during the presentation.
Do-Now

I will be using the board to show two questions witch they will be able to answer from the video show to them.
Activity & Handout

Only student notebook a bottle water ice and fire.

Copies Needed  #21
TEACHERS
What are the teachers doing?
STUDENTS
What are the students doing?
TIME
How long will it take?
Do-Now

After given the Do Now I will explain them each type of cloud for those who didn’t get the video.
Taking notes from the video.
10 to 15 minutes
with the demonstration

Activity

I will be helping the students but they will know the type of cloud by watching the
Do Now video
Students will be looking at their notes and identify each pictures with their name.

The Theory of the Plate Tectonics

Do You agree with the theory of plate tectonic? Why or Why not?

Plate Tectonic is the movement of Earth, this is created in the continental and ocean lithosphere.
The plates are also formed by the mantle witch form part of the layers under the Earth the the mantle is composed by solid rocks also the Magma is formed of melted rocks witch is one of the layers, temperatures is about 2,000 degrees that can be the cause of Earthquake.

1.2025 millions years ago the continents were together this theory is called "Pangea"
the continents now are separate because of the Earth movement that
the plates cause, each continents has their own pate tectonic.
also we can see the differences between the 2025 and the map we have now.

2. Also the scientists had founded many fossils witch is related with the theory of the
the continents were together once, Fossils of "Remains of Mesosaurus, crocodile"
and more, these fossils are founded in continents like North America and South Africa,
this tells us that this theory is true because as we know that these animals ecxist in this age.

3. Another is the builds of the mountains, volcanoes the earthquakes.
these are created of the cause of the plates tectonics
as we know when two plates comes together creates mountain and when the rocks goes down and up creates earthquakes by the plates tectonics.

5. My opinion about this is that the scientists are doing a hard work on finding all these things
I think there is a lot of good evidences that support these theories of the Earth, I agree with
all these because everything has their own strong evidence to makes us believe it.

Reflection:
1.What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
I did enjoy making the activities because is fun to be creative
2.what was most challenging for you during this project and why?
I believe was memorising the the movements, the pates.
3.what new skills you learn from this project and why?
I learn how to learn something more easier.
4.Is there anything you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
I could have done a lot of things well if I could be focused more in the topic.

5. what would you change about this project?
I would change just to stare creating a Photographic Evidence first because that way we can learn more fats and is better for me.

Photographic Evidence

Plate tectonic has many different causes and effect in the earth.
Earthquake happen when the transform fault move and also if it was under the ocean caused tsunami.

Solstice

  • Vocabulary:
  • Equator: Is the line in the middle of the Earth, Norther and Southern. ( Equator= Equador)
  • Hemisphere: is in the top of the Earth, that divides the Earth in two North and South.(Hemisphere=Hemisfera).
  • Axis: The line in middle of the Earth that makes the world go around the Sun. ( Axis=Eje)
  • Axis Tilt: the lien in the middle of Earth that tilt in the angle of 23.5 degree. (Axis Tilt= Longitud Axis)
  • Revolution: Is when the world goes around the sun. (Revolution= Revolucion).
  • Revolution Length: The Earth goes around the sun in 365 days (year). (Revolution=Revolucion longitud)
  • Orbit: the line that makes the planets goes around. (orbit= Orbita).
  • Ellipse: is the line that looks in a oval shape, that makes the Earth around the sun. ( Ellipse=Elipse).
  • Summer Solstice: is one of the longest day in Jun 21 or 22. (Summer Solstice= Solstico de Verano
  • Winter Solstice: December 21 or 22 this day has the sort daylight. (Winter Solstice= Solstico de Invierno).
SUMMARY: Equator is the imaginary line that is in the middle of the Norther and Southern like the. Hemisphere is also in a half of the Earth also in the Northern and Southern. The Axis is the line in        the top of the Earth also rotates in is axis also the Axis Tilt is in a position of 23.4 degrees that makes the Earth.  Revolution is when the Earth goes around the sun the  Revolution Length is when the Earth goes around the sun for 365 days in the, Orbit is the imaginary line that makes the Earth goes around in a Ellipse is the line in a form of a oval in that line the earth goes around as a result of the. Solstice is the two days in the year like Summer and Winter these days are.  Summer Solstice one of the days is in  June 21 is the longest day in the year witch means that is the beging of the sumer is a full day of sun also the.  Winter Solstice is in  December 21 the shortest daylight of the year. In conclusion this how the solstice works and how the Earth works with the sun in a year.

How the Earth is affected by movement ( Revolution)?
Earth get the different kind of seasons when the Earth's goes around in the orbit,
when the Earth's get near to the sun we get summer and spring, when the
Earth get away from the sun we get winter and fall in a year of 365 days.
The Earth also gets the day and night working with the moon, also the ocean tide.

VIDEO:

    REFLECTION
    1. I enjoy when we did the pictures because I have to be creative and I am not good at it.
    2. The most challenge thing was when we have to put the vocabulary in order to make the video because I have no idea how to do that.
    3. I learn how work in group and how to be creative.
    4. If I could change something I will make it more animated with a lot of pictures, I will describe more the pictures.
